Marie Osmonds son Stephen committing suicide

The tragic death of Marie Osmonds 18 year old son Michael, has sent shock-waves through the Entertainment community. Michael Blosil who was the second child who was adopted by Osmond, reportedly had been suffering depression for years.

Bosil also left a suicide note, offering a reason why he decided to take his own life.

Before Marie Osmond's 18-year-old son leaped to his death, he texted a friend to tell her there was a note waiting for her in his apartment, TMZ.com reports.

Michael Blosil and the unidentified woman were supposed to get together Friday night, sources told TMZ, and she received his text shortly before 9 p.m.

The woman, who lives in Blosil's Los Angeles apartment building, then walked over to his flat. His roommates let her in.

Minutes after she found the note, they heard the sound of sirens outside the window, TMZ reported. The note said that the woman was his only close friend in L.A. and that he was depressed.

While the note did not mention suicide specifically, it did list things he would be doing for the last time, the Web site said.

Marie and her ex husband Brian adopted five children in all, and also had three of their own.

The couple ended their relationship of twenty years, but gave no reason apart from saying their marriage was a faithful one.

The news has devastated the family, and the Osmond family are supporting their sister in her time of need. According to reports the family are all together mourning the loss.

Marie Osmond came to fame along with her family, with the Osmond family singing group and later television show, although most of Marie’s fame came with her own solo career.

This is another sad ending to the life of someone not in the spotlight but effected by it.
